Dr Zainab Gobir, Director, Innovations, Initiatives and Interventions,
Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS)
Dr Gobir is the head of Innovations, Initiatives and Interventions at the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) and the Coordinator of the Presidential Enabling Business Council Environment (PEBEC) at the FIRS.
Dr Zainab Gobir started her career, as a Consultant in 1997 and became a Management Consultant in the year 2000. She is a trained Banker, Project Manager, Program Manager and Finance Manager with subject matter expertise in multiple industries.
She is a Fellow of International Institute of Certified Forensic & Investigation Professional, Fellow of Chattered Institute of Risk and Loan management, Member of the International Federation of Accountant (IFA), Menber of Association for Computer and Machinery (ACM) (2017), Member Cert International Financial Reporting (CertIFR) ACCA, Member of Association of Certified Accountant Nigeria, Fellow of Institute of Human Resource Management, Member Institute of Directors United Kingdom, Fellow of Chattered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, Fellow of Institute of Economists of Nigeria, Cert International Auditor ACCA Certified Public Accountant and PMO Member Since 2000. She has a certificate on innovation from Oxford University.
Dr Gobir had her PhD in Forensic Accounting and Audit (July 2018) at Charisma University
Caicos Islands, M.Sc. Masters in Forensic Accounting and Criminal Investigation, Masters in Executive MBA at Texas Women’s University USA, Bachelor Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies at University of Texas Dallas, USA, Diploma in Art and Science (May1999) Richland College Dallas Texas, and attended Lake Highland High School Dallas Texas in May 1996.
Dr Gobir is an honorary Mayor President at the city of Burton Rough, Louisiana, USA.
