Mr Reuben Oshomah, Regional Director – West Africa, Avanti Satellite Communications

Reuben Oshomah is an IT and Telecommunications executive with two decades of working across Sub-Sahara Africa and Europe. He has worked with Pan-African and Blue-Chip organizations that include Shell, Barclays, MTN, Ericsson and Microsoft. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Benin, Nigeria and a Master’s degree in Engineering Project Management from the University of Manchester, UK.

He has also attended executive education at the University of Cambridge. Reuben is passionate about endeavours that promote the inclusiveness of the unconnected in an emerging economy. He is a pioneer in the Mobile Financial Services industry in Nigeria and has also overseen multiple deliveries across Africa. He is currently the Regional Director, West Africa for Avanti Satellite Communications Ltd, where he drives the company’s strategy across the region.
