Prof. Oluwaranti received the B.Sc. (Hons.) in Computer Engineering in 1 994, and a doctoral degree in Computer Science in 2007. He worked briefly as a Systems Engineer before joining the Academic staff of the Department Computer Science & Engineering, Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-lfe, Nigeria. His research interests include Data C ommu nications with a special interest in Wireless N etworks, Wireless Sensors N etworks, Cybersecurityr Pervasive and M obile Computing, Internet of Things applications and Eng ineering Education.

He has served as member and Team Lead for both the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) and the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) Accreditation Panels for Computer Engineering Programme in Universities and Polytechnics. He has worked in collaboration with colleagues to initiate several research projects and has shown good lead ership skills and maturity.
