Dr Mustapha Lamorde is the Executive Director, Health, Safety, Environment and Community (HSEC) of the Authority with the mandate to regulate health, safe, efficient and effective Midstream and Downstream petroleum activities (technical, commercial and operational) in an environmentally acceptable and sustainable manner.

Dr Mustapha Lamorde is a seasoned expert in the Oil and Gas and the wider Energy Sector with experiences that spans over two decades. He started his career with Geoservices International as a Drilling Data Engineer in the UK North Sea. Later, he joined Shell as a Petroleum Engineer where he was involved in the exploration, drilling, development, and production management operations for Shell deep water projects across the world through design; execution; management; technical; commercial; operational delivery; research and deployment of optimal solutions to critical business development for over a decade.
