Mr Olatayo Ladipo-Ajai, Country Manager, Infobip Nigeria

Olatayo Ladipo-Ajai is an astute information technology executive with over 15 years’ experience in guiding blue-chip, multinationals and Small-scale businesses in Africa to acquire cutting-edge technologies and implement new ideas on the path to the future.

Olatayo’s vast experience in sales, services, projects and branding has assisted him in creating interesting customer relationships and partners across business verticals. Starting his early career days as a young sales executive providing websites / portals services to SMEs from door to door through a World Bank sponsored project, to his recent task of managing large teams and businesses, Olatayo has indeed built passion for values that encourage good service, global standards, keeping the customer first and the can-do attitude. These values have also assisted him in managing large teams for several organizations in different capacities.

Olatayo is currently the Country Manager at Infobip Nigeria, he is responsible for managing business operations in the market (increase efficiency of processes and drive group alignment). He also is focused on increasing annual revenue, growth and acquisition targets in the region amongst other team collaboration, customer satisfaction and talent management functions.

Before joining Infobip, Olatayo was Executive Director for Sales at BCX Nigeria and he was responsible for driving BCX’s sales strategy planning, ensuring the development and growth of the business, achieving and maximizing budgeted sales and financials. Before joining BCX, Olatayo led IBM’s Cloud & Software Services Business for Central and West Africa. He was responsible for setting up IBM’s cloud strategy for the CWA region which he grew exponentially over the period of service with IBM.

Just before Olatayo joined IBM, he concluded an 8 years experience with one of the largest systems integrators in West Africa (CWG) as a Business Director, leading a team of over 275 IT professionals offering services to various industry verticals. While working for CWG, Olatayo won several achievement awards from OEMs like Wincor Nixdorf, Dell EMC, IBM and others. He was also responsible for the growth of the ATM business at CWG, he successfully sold and deployed over 5,000 Wincor Nixdorf brand ATMs for several Nigerian Banks.

Olatayo is an alumni of the prestigious Lagos Business School, he believes in strong teams, family values, equal rights for everyone and that great ideas trump unstructured hard work.
