Mr Thabo Mashegoane

Thabo has over 19 years of experience in implementing business systems ranging from Six Sigma Process Improvement consulting, System Developer, Designer, Analyst, Enterprise / Business Architecture, and various Leadership roles in the Financial Services and Electricity utility industries.

He is a dynamic professional who transitioned from a Chemical Engineering profession in the FMCG industry to an IT profession which spanned 10 years in Financial Services. He was later captivated by the importance and impact of the Build programme which made him venture into the Utility space in the role of Enterprise Architecture specialising in Business Architecture.

His accomplishments include successfully starting practices from the ground up, & these include the development and implementation of the Systems Development Lifecycle, establishing a Software Quality Assurance function, and establishing an Enterprise Architecture function.

As a volunteer, Thabo had the privilege of being a director at Young Business South Africa (YBSA) in 2008; an IT career role model at Makomba Ndlela for career outreach in Science and Technology, a Trustee member at two Real Estates, an IITPSA Gauteng chapter executive committee chairperson and he is currently a National President and a Non-Executive Board member of IITPSA.
