GUIDELINES FOR SPEAKERS

For a smooth running of the event, speakers are encouraged to stick to the following guidelines

1. Goodwill Message  Presenters- 5 minutes

a. Deliver messages from your organisation to the Summit participants

b. Share views on the theme of the summit

c. Make general remarks

2. Keynote Address Speakers – 15 minutes 

a. Make presentation on the theme of the Summit
b. Share success stories and perspectives on Government current policy direction
c. Make recommendations

3. Panel Chairs – 5 minutes (2.5 minutes for opening remark and 2.5 minutes for closing remark)

a. Make general remarks on the sub-theme of the panel (2.5 minutes)
b. Invite the lead paper presenter to make presentation  (10 minutes)
c. Invite panelists to speak on the sub-theme (20 minutes for the panelists)
d. Invite contribution from the audience  (5minutes)
e. Invite panellists (whose Audience comments were directed to) to respond (5 minutes)
f. The chairman to give a closing remark (2.5 minute)

4. Lead Paper Presenters – 10 minutes

a.  Make a PowerPoint presentation to share perspective and expertise on the Sub -theme
b. Highlight success stories and challenges
c. Proffer solutions to the challenges
d. Make recommendations

5. Panelists – 4 minutes 

a. Share perspective on the sub-theme and on the paper presented by the lead presenter.
